Last week, WACAP and Holt announced that their agencies were merging. Quickly after that, our advocates began to get comments on FB posts and private messages asking what that means for Red Thread Advocates. As you probably know, we are all WACAP mamas, so we have a special relationship with the incredible staff there that played such a huge part in helping to build our families. Although change is often difficult (let’s face it…comfortable is nice!), we also know that change can be a stimulus for growth. Our loyalties to WACAP are strong, but even stronger is our desire to see waiting children come HOME to their forever families.

So what will happen to Red Thread? We will continue to advocate, of course, as long as there are children waiting.
